RF Trax is a limited run, vinyl imprint by stalwart, Canadian artist, Rennie Foster, known for his varied international releases, strong connections to the Detroit music community and Japanese underground club scene.The first release on this imprint is all about the tribe. Showing Rennie's interest in authentic collaboration among like-minded artists.

Third wave Detroit techno legends, Claude Young and Sean Deason, are not a part of history, they still lead the charge in terms of creativity and production skill, as evidenced here in these outstanding remixes.Claude goes deep with stunning piano work and detailed arrangement, well Deason goes the opposite direction, for a relentless, jacking DJ weapon.

NYC's Butane delivers a monstrous DJ track as well, true to his minimalistic club-funk signature style. Mark Archer, the UK techno pioneer behind Altern 8 and Nexus 21, takes it to the very heart of warehouse culture with uplifting piano and a soulful, synth driven, melancholy, vibe.

For lovers of timeless, quality, dance music, unhindered by hype, genre, and creative constrictions. This is homage to the roots of dance music culture with eyes and hearts toward the future.

Artwork for the RF Trax series is created by Vancouver based artist Vasho Pekar. The unusual method of creation involves photographing projected images and text onto objects; there is no Photoshop involved in these images, they are each an unaltered photograph.
